The Lost son of Philomena Lee

When she fell pregnant as a teenager in Ireland in 1952, Philomena Lee was sent to the convent at Roscrea in Co. Tipperary to be looked after as a fallen woman. She cared for her baby for three years until the Church took him from her and sold him, like countless others, to America for adoption. Coerced into signing a document promising never to attempt to see her child again, she nonetheless spent the next fifty years secretly searching for him, unaware that he was searching for her from across the Atlantic.
Philomena's son, renamed Michael Hess, grew up to be a top Washington lawyer and a leading Republican official in the Reagan and Bush administrations. But he was a gay man in a homophobic party where he had to conceal not only his sexuality but, eventually, the fact that he had AIDs. With little time left, he returned to Ireland and the convent where he was born: his desperate quest to find his mother before he died left a legacy that was to unfold with unexpected consequences for all involved.

OLIVIER HOUALET

Wild-Instinct,-Olivier-Houalet-
For the last 15 years, Olivier Houalet, the Cheetah Man has been living in Namibia with the largest big cats in Africa.  Olivier moved to Namibia when he was 18.  A self-trained expert, Olivier has spent years observing animal behaviour. Venturing into their enclosures, Olivier has befriended the animals, rescuing them from poachers and releasing them into the wild.
In Animal Planet’s new series ‘Wild Instinct’, Olivier is in search of the last remaining animals that live in total freedom. To reach them, he is ready to penetrate the most remote corners of the globe and enter an environment where nature is often unpredictable. Far from nature reserves and animal parks run by humans, Olivier will discover our planet’s last wild paradises. Premiering December 18, ‘Wild Instinct’ will air every Friday at 10 PM on Animal Planet.
Olivier will lead viewers deep into these ultimate paradises in an attempt to live out a dream: finding the last desert lions in Namibia, witnessing the great elephants gathering in Chobe in Botswana, attending the world’s largest mammal meeting in Kasanka in Zambia.
Olivier will be seen finding the last wild paradises while visiting the remote corners of Namibia, experiencing the free wild animals and a number of unusual species of plants and animals found in the Namib Desert. Although the desert is largely unpopulated, the animals found there have adapted to the specific climate of the area. He will try to understand the intriguing method of how the Bushmen communicate through the signs of animals, hunt with the milky poison on their arrows and protect themselves from being a prey to these endangered creatures.
Olivier will also visit a prehistoric land called Dead Vleior or ‘dead marsh’, which is one of the driest environments on the Earth. He will find how the wildlife there – from the smallest beetle to the oryx have managed to adapt themselves to survive in a place with no water.

BIG CATS

BIG CATS

The terms big cat and great cat, while not a biological classification, are used informally to distinguish the larger felid species from smaller ones. A narrower definition of includes five members of the genus Panthera: the tiger, lion, jaguar, leopard, and snow leopard. Only members of this genus are able to roar. A more expansive definition additionally includes the cougar and cheetah. Another cat, the clouded leopard is considered an evolutionary link between big and small cats.

Despite enormous differences in size, various species of cat are quite similar in both structure and behaviour, with the exception of the cheetah, which even more significantly stands out from the other big and small cats. All cats are carnivores and efficient apex predators. Their range includes the Americas, Africa, Asia, and Europe.

Dan Brown - Biography

Dan Brown, best-selling author of 'The Da Vinci Code' was born on June 22, 1964.
Brown grew up as the eldest of three children in Exeter, New Hampshire and graduated from Phillips Exeter Academy, a decidedly up-market school where his father was employed as a math teacher, in 1982. His mother, Constance, was a professional musician principally involved in performing sacred music. Although Dan Brown actually attended local public, (i.e. open-enrollment), schools until the ninth grade he nonetheless lived with his family on the Exeter campus and participated in a college related life that was also informed by christian values- singing in the church choir and attending church camp.
Brown then attended Amherst College, graduating with a degree in English and Spanish in 1986 and spent several subsequent years attempting to establish himself as a singer-songwriter and pianist with only marginal success.
These endeavors did, however, lead him to live in Los Angeles where he taught Spanish at Beverly Hills Preparatory School to supplement his income and where he also met Blythe Newlon. This lady, - twelve years his senior, was then employed as Artistic Director of the National Academy of Songwriters. As their relationship developed Blythe used her influence in attempts to further Dan Brown's musical career.
It happened, however, that despite Dan Brown's accepted musical talents, (four CDs of his music were produced and his backers spoke of him as 'the next Barry Manilow'), his somewhat preppy and slightly reserved manner contributed to an overall inability to gain sufficient appreciation as a performance artist to justify continued efforts to establish himself professionally. In 1993 he decided to return to New Hampshire and secured a teaching job, in English, at Phillips Exeter Academy, Blythe Newlon accompanied him.

I gave you my heart
But the very next day you gave it away.
This year
To save me from tears
I'll give it to someone specia
l."

Christmas is around the corner!!! Yeah I'm a Muslim but I do join my grandfather and my other non-Muslim families. But this year, I will celebrate it at UPM alone without my families, for the first time.

While they're enjoying the turkey, I will be stranded here, alone. No turkey, no Christmas songs, no foods. no greetings, no Christmas tree and no present. And all I can do is, berhuhuhuhu...

my favourite song

Do you know what's worth fighting for,
When it's not worth dying for?
Does it take your breath away
And you feel yourself suffocating?
Does the pain weigh out the pride?
And you look for a place to hide?
Did someone break your heart inside?
You're in ruins
One, twenty one guns
Lay down your arms
Give up the fight
One, twenty one guns
Throw up your arms into the sky,
You and I
When you're at the end of the road
And you lost all sense of control
And your thoughts have taken their toll
When your mind breaks the spirit of your soul
Your faith walks on broken glass
And the hangover doesn't pass
Nothing's ever built to last
You're in ruins
One, twenty one guns
Lay down your arms
Give up the fight
One, twenty one guns
Throw up your arms into the sky,
You and I
Did you try to live on your own
When you burned down the house and home?
Did you stand too close to the fire?
Like a liar looking for forgiveness from a stone
When it's time to live and let die
And you can't get another try
Something inside this heart has died
You're in ruins
One, twenty one guns
Lay down your arms
Give up the fight
One, twenty one guns
Throw up your arms into the sky,
One, twenty one guns
Lay down your arms
Give up the fight
One, twenty one guns
Throw up your arms into the sky,
You and I
